Di Grassi confirmed as Pirelli tester
Brazilian Lucas di Grassi has been confirmed as Pirelli's new official test driver. Di Grassi, who made his grand prix debut with the Virgin team last year, will be in charge of developing the latest generation of tyres for the future in at least five tests in 2011. "A significant part of our tyre development stems from the feedback we receive from our test driver, so this is an absolutely crucial appointment," said Pirelli's Paul Hembery
